Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

Kick ass kind candles, that's us and we mean it. We aim to be as sustainable as possible, from our wax to our packaging. As you know by now, we use recycled beer bottles to house our luxurious soy wax candles. But the question on everyone's lips is "What do we do with the bottle when the candle is finished?" Well don't worry, we're here to inspire you.

The first and most simple answer is to bring them back to us! We clean out your old candles to reuse and make new ones. By peeling off the stickers, melting away the wax and wiping the glass we can bring a new lease of life to your beer bottle. Don't worry about bringing it back clean, we can do the hard part for you!

Now for the creative part. One of our favourite ways to repurpose our beer bottles is to use them as plant pots! They provide the perfect home for succulents, propagating plants and herbs. Simply repot your plants with some soil and sprinkle some water on top! You could even paint the outside of your bottle if you're feeling extra adventurous. A mini DIY terrarium could be another interesting way to repurpose. Pop in-store and get some inspiration from our big enclosed terrariums!

For the creatives, organise your space with your Wandering Bee beer bottles. You could put your buttons, sewing needles, scrap yarn, or stitch markers straight in! By gluing some old fabric, wallpaper or card you can instantly brighten your jar and make it unique to your creative space.

For the painters, store your art supplies in the bottle. It is a perfect way to store or clean your paint brushes. Or you could use it to mix your colours! The options are endless if you're equipped with paint and a few brushes.

If you still love the bottle and miss the candle, you could pop a tealight straight in so you still get the warm amber glow. But if in doubt bring it back to us and we will reuse it! You never know, you might end up with the same beer bottle the next time you buy a kick-ass kind candle from us.
