Something people are sometimes surprised by us when I say our candles are vegan.
Because a lot of people think, aren't all candles vegan?
And actually, no, not necessarily.
Depending on how a candle is made, the wax itself or parts of the fragrance formulation can sometimes involve animal-derived ingredients.
For us, it was something we wanted to be really clear on from the beginning.
Every single Wandering Bee candle is made with 100% soy wax, and everything we create here at The Wandering Bee is always vegan-friendly and cruelty-free.
And that will never change.
It's definitely something we probably don't talk about enough because, to us, it's just the way we've always gone about making things.
We want our candles, and everything we make, to smell beautiful, look beautiful and feel luxurious.
But we also want to feel really proud of the choices that sit behind them.
So when you see vegan-friendly and cruelty-free on a Wandering Bee product, it isn't just about having a little badge that we've added on.
It's part of the standard that we've set for the brand from the beginning.
