Our Story

We’ve been pouring candles and chasing dreams since early 2021. What started at our kitchen table, with big ideas, very little space, and a determination to build something of our own, has grown into something we’re incredibly proud of today. Back then, evenings looked a little different: wicks to trim, labels to stick, and IKEA bags full of parcels carried to the post office before closing time. It was busy, a little chaotic at times, but every order mattered to us. It still does.

From the beginning, The Wandering Bee was never just about candles. It was about creating something that felt different. Fragrance with depth, character, and a presence that stayed with you. Scent that doesn’t simply fill a room, but changes how it feels.

As we grew, so did the brand around us. What began as something small quickly became something shared, built not only by one person, but by a family and now a small, dedicated team who care deeply about what we do. In those early days, we became known for our beer bottle candles — a little unexpected, a little unconventional, but completely ours. They were where we started, and they will always be part of our story.

Over the years, we’ve grown in ways we once only imagined. From those kitchen table beginnings to finding our place in homes, shops, and spaces far beyond what we first pictured, one thing has remained constant: how much we care about the fragrance itself. Every scent we create is carefully built. Layered, considered, and designed to unfold beautifully. It’s what we’ve come to call our signature Wandering Bee depth, and what makes everything we create feel immersive, atmospheric, and always unmistakably us.

Today, The Wandering Bee has evolved into a brand rooted in scent and designed for the home. What began with candles has grown into a wider collection of reed diffusers, wax melts, and hand and body care, all created with the same intention to bring atmosphere, depth, and quiet luxury into everyday spaces. The past few years have been wild, wonderful, and far beyond anything we imagined. At its heart, The Wandering Bee is about creating fragrance with depth, character, and a presence you don’t forget. And we’re only just getting started.
