Soft Serve: The Story Behind August's Subs Club Exclusive

Every month, we start with a feeling.

Before we think about fragrance notes or names, we think about a moment. A mood. Something we want to bottle up and bring into your home. For August, we knew exactly what that feeling was.

The height of summer.

Imagine you've spent all day in the sunshine. You come home, have an everything shower, pull on your favourite dressing gown and reach for a rich, whipped coconut body cream.

The day is done. The evening asks nothing more of you. The last of the golden sun is coming through the windows, and all that's left to do is switch off.

That's the feeling we wanted to capture. And I genuinely think we've nailed it.

I'll admit it, I'm a coconut gal. So creating a fragrance inspired by creamy coconut and soft, luxurious skincare was always going to be one of my favourites.

Soft Serve is smooth, milky and beautifully comforting. It reminds me of the most luxurious whipped body cream, with that clean, creamy feeling that lingers long after you've used it. It's less about dessert and more about expensive skincare. Soft, elegant and effortlessly summery.

This year we've been putting a lot of thought into the names of our fragrances. We wanted something that hinted at summer sweetness without feeling overly playful. Something that still felt refined and unmistakably The Wandering Bee.

Soft Serve felt like the perfect fit. It's a subtle nod to vanilla ice cream, but it's really about that soft, creamy feeling the fragrance creates.
